The Date

"AND CUT! Alright everyone lets get some touch-ups done and take five. Be back on set in ten." The director yelled out as the cast finished filming a segment for a new movie coming out. The movie industry was hectic no doubt, but it was what (y/n) lived for. She loved this type of life and wouldn't give it up for anything. (Y/n) got her big break when she was called to be the head make-up artist for The Dark Knight back in 2008, ever since then she has been working as one of the best make-up artist in the industry.

Currently (y/n) was working on touching up one of the main actors' make-up, who just so happened to be none other than Jeremy Renner. (Y/n) knew Jeremy from when she helped out on the Avenger films. "So how are you and Evans?" Jeremy asks.

(Y/n) and Chris have been dating for a while now. To be accurate, it's been about two and a half years. They first met on the set of Snowpiercer, a movie Chris did back in 2013. (Y/n) of course was the head make-up artist and as soon as they laid eyes on each other they clicked. You could call it love at first sight, even though it took a couple of months for them to start dating.

"Oh we're doing well; we Face Timed this morning since he's in New York right now." (Y/n) said as she brushed more purple into the bruise around Jeremy's eye. Little did (y/n) know Chris was actually in LA and on the movie set looking for her.

While they were Face Timing this morning Chris noticed that (y/n) seemed a little down but decided not to ask about it. Instead he decided to get on the next flight to LA to surprise (y/n) and cheer her up some. He also had a really big surprise planed and thought that it would be best to skip ahead than waiting another month.

"How much longer is he going to be in NYC?" Jeremy asked. (Y/n) shrugged while thinking, "Another month I think." Just then Jeremy caught sight of the man he was having a conversation about. Chris locked eyes with Jeremy and held up his index finger, indicating for Jeremy to not say anything to (y/n) as he sneaked up behind her. Jeremy smiled and nodded slightly. "So it'll be a while before you see him again." Jeremy stated more than questioned. "Yep." (Y/n) said.

"Might be quicker than that." Chris said as he snaked his arms around (y/n) waist, causing her to jump slightly. When (y/n) turned her head, she was met with a kiss from her bushy bearded boyfriend. "Oh my god Chris, what are you doing here?!" (Y/n) asked once they pulled apart. Jeremy smiled at the interaction between his friends before getting up and heading back to the set.

"Where's the make-up artist?! (L/n)! We need you!" The director yelled from across the set. Letting out a sigh, (y/n) dropped her head to Chris' shoulder but only for a split second. She gave Chris a quick peck on the lips and hurriedly made her way to where the director stood.

After a stressful day on set, even though Chris was there, (y/n) was ready to do nothing more than just drop down on her bed and sleep for the next three days. But Chris had other plans in mind, so when they arrived to (y/n) apartment he told her to get in a quick shower so he could take her out to eat. Of course (y/n) protested because mostly all her energy was drained but she could never say no to that sexy pout Chris did when he wanted something really bad.

(Y/n) finished her shower and got dressed in a nice summer/afternoon dress that flowed around her body eloquently. It was actually one of Chris' favorites that she owned. "So where are we going?" (Y/n) asked as she made her way to the front door. Chris smiled before opening the door for her and saying, "It's a surprise."

The Proposal

About 30 minutes later, they arrived at one of their favorite restaurants and were seated at a table outside. The sun was just beginning to set and the horizon resembled that of a beautiful painting. (Y/n) loved when Chris took her out like this; they barley had time to do so when they were working like crazy.

Once they had finished dinner, Chris excused himself and went to order dessert for the both of them. He asked the waiter to place the ring he bought on top of the dessert so that (y/n) would see it as soon as the dessert was placed in front of her.

Chris came back and sat down with a huge smile on his face. (Y/n) smiled instantly seeing her boyfriends smile grow wider. Chris then turned his head towards the kitchen noticing a waiter come out carrying two plates with their favorite dessert on them.

"Close your eyes." Chris said as he turned back around. "Why?" (Y/n) asked wondering what Chris had up is sleeve. "Just close your eyes. Please." Chris asked more than stated. (Y/n) smiled while shaking her head, but eventually closed her eyes just before the waiter walked up. "Thank you." Chris said to the waiter then as quietly as possible got down on one knee right beside (y/n) and took her hands in his. This action caused (y/n) to open her eyes only to quickly look down to where Chris was.

"(Y/n) (L/n) I know our lives are crazy and we work non stop, but that doesn't mean that we should put our growing relationship on hold. I've been trying to find the best way and also the best time to ask you this, so here it goes."

Every other person who were inside and outside of the restaurant and a few people who were walking up and down the street stopped to listen intently as Chris finished his question.

"(Y/n) (L/n) will you marry me?"

Silence filled the air as everyone, especially Chris waited for (y/n) to answer. Her heart was pounding in her chest; she couldn't believe that Chris was finally asking her to marry him.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you."

Shouts of joy escaped all others who surrounded them as Chris placed the ring on (y/n) finger and they kissed.

The Wedding

"We are gathered her today to celebrate the marriage of Chris Evans and (Y/n) (L/n)." The priest explained as Chris and (y/n) stood before him. Their family and friends all seated waiting for the ceremony to commence.

"If there is any reason these two should not be married, please speak now or forever hold your peace." Silence fell over the crowd as no one objected to the marriage. "Chris would you begin with your vows, please."

Chris nodded before speaking up. "(Y/n) its crazy how we met on a movie set and I have to be honest and say that was the best day of my life. Who knew that one day I would meet one of the nicest make-up artist and end up standing here in front of her while I ask her to be my wife. (Y/n) I love you and you are the best thing to have happened to me in this industry. I'm so happy that I will get to spend the rest of my life with you."

(Y/n) had a few tears running down her face from the pure joy and happiness she felt at that moment. "(Y/n) your vows, please."

"Chris I hate to admit that, that day had actually started off as one of the worst days for me. But then I saw you and we started talking. That small conversation we had made my day much better. I had no idea at the time that we would be here years later confessing our love for one another. I'm glad that day turned out to be the day I had found my soul mate. I thought that only happened in movies. I love you Chris."

"Chris do you take (Y/n) (L/n) to be your wife?"

"I do."

"(Y/n) do you take Chris Evans to be your husband?"

"I do."

"Then by the power vested in me I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Evans, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Chris grabbed (y/n) waist and pulled her into a heated kiss. Cheers exploded from the crowd as the newly wedded couple pulled apart.

The Kids

Chris and (y/n) were peacefully sleeping on this early quiet morning that is until two small children jumped onto the bed effectively wake them up. "Mommy! Daddy! Wake up its Christmas!" They both said in unison shaking each of their parents. (Y/n) groaned knowing that the kids would not give up until either her or Chris was awake. She was grateful that they didn't jump on her stomach. Both their kids knew that (y/n) was a few months pregnant with their little sister or brother, so she and Chris told them that they have to be careful around their mommy.

Chris chuckled hearing (y/n) groan and opted to get up first. "Okay, okay I'm up. Let's get you two to go to the bathroom first and then go downstairs and wait for mommy." Both boys jumped off the bed and ran out the room while Chris reached over to his wife and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek. Before he could get in a real good hug, their twin boys came running back into the room and pulled at Chris' pajamas.

Soon (y/n) came down the stairs to see her husband and two boys eating breakfast. "Hey baby. Hi boys." (Y/n) said while kissing both boys on the head before going over to kiss Chris. "I made some eggs and bacon." Chris said after parting from the kiss. (Y/n) smiled wide and sat down with the boys wile Chris prepared her a plate.

After breakfast the small family sat down in the living room and opened presents. The boys got a lot of toys and other little gadgets. (Y/n) and Chris exchanged gifts and sat side by side on the couch while watching the boys play wit their new toys.

I guess you could say that what happens in movies... could become reality.
